Everybody having access to rainbow Invulernerable troops that possess 75% skull damage reduction and 75% spell damage reduction would turn this game into a massive slog – short of having a reliable way to generate skull matches with an Enraged tank, it would take a long time to kill stuff, even with Stellarix.
The guardians are meant to be AI-only troops, the same way that the AI has the “spiffier” version of Zuul’goth and Ctharrasque.

I wondered that too.
However, we can see in {spoilers} that there are 9 “Guardian of…” troops sitting, waiting to be released.
I wouldn’t put much stock in that, especially given they have no release dates.

The six versions of Zuul’goth and the six versions of Ctharrasque that we fight during Raidboss Events also showed up on the spoiler pages. It’s probably a database thing, so that the game can call the troop out of the database during those events.

So the thing is - Those 9 haven’t been released yet or else they wouldn’t be showing in the spoilers. The game cannot call something that doesn’t exist.
It’s been a while, but I do not believe the Boss varients appeared in the spoilers, just the one we could get.
Anyways, I wasn’t saying something for sure, just pointing it out.

Those are the last 2 tiers of rewards and quite honestly, they’re not really that great imo. Burning marks feel like a scratch lotto ticket and will disappoint you about half of the time.
When we get Dragonlord Luther tomorrow, along with the orb of minions and 50 dragonite, it will put a nice end to this anniversary event.

Yeah, not that great though I wouldn’t say no to them, but just shows the number of players has fallen below where the devs expected it to be (because they’ve done something(s) wrong) or they never planned to give those rewards at all and just made themselves look bad.
When you plan for this kind of community challenge as part of a big celebration, you should be aiming for players to EASILY bypass it, so you can make a big deal about how great the players are and how well the community did, to generate goodwill. Hell, you often want players to overshoot so far that you reveal another layer of rewards you always expected them to earn, but never told them, so you can seem even more generous, and earn even more goodwill by saying your players are so awesome you’re giving them extra. What you don’t want is for players to fall massively short and have to announce that players aren’t playing the game, or aren’t doing good enough (even if whatever they miss out on is nothing special). That just looks terrible. And that’s what seems to be happening here.

After a huge push in our final week, and some uncollected goal data updating, Tier 4 goals have been achieved in rapid time! We will aim to get the rewards out before the weekend if not early next week.
