No logic behind it. There are plenty of guilds.
Creating significant disparity by trophy count was bad. If you play a L3100 bot guild, you gain nearly 20 ELO points. If you play 3 other guilds within 30 ranks of you, you barely earn more in 3 days, than they do in 1.
