Accursed Delves

Yesterday I noticed something funny in the faction assault delve.
Today I tried to see if I could duplicate it.

Here’s the test subject, Mistralus.
With assorted buffs, Mistralus would normally have
19 magic and 23 point spell attack
69 armor
39 attack
72 life
at the start of a battle in this delve.

I go to a room that hands out the “accursed” debuff after you finish the room.
At the next room the enemies have two members who also have the accursed trait.
So there should be 3 accursed events happening at the start of the battle.

Mistralia now has
13 magic and 17 point spell attack
69 armor
35 attack
70 life

The magic alone has been debuffed by 2 points 3 times!
But the life took a 2 point debuff and the attack took a 4 point debuff.

Whaaaaat’s happening?

In the next room no enemies had the accursed trait.
Mistralia now has
17 magic and 21 point spell attack
67 armor
33 attack
70 life

So one accursed debuff should have been applied and we have a 6 point drop in attack, a 2 point drop in life, a 2 point drop in magic and a 2 point drop in armor. (from the normal start)

The room actually hands out ‘Accursed’ to each of the enemy Troops, so four individual instances of lowering a random stat by 2 for each of your Troops.

Since there were two enemies that also had it naturally, that brings the total up to 6, and explains this first scenario.

I don’t think I can explain the second. Did you lose a troop, and therefore a team bonus? Did you change your Medal setup? If you had a Medal of Aranea equipped previously, and then switched to Medals of Anu/Orpheus, that could explain it.

SANTA MARIA!
That’s nasty stuff.

On the 2nd battle nothing changed. I might have made a mistake in my note taking.

Thanks - that answers the question.
