Please provide a ‘Skip AI Animation Turn’ button in the battle interface. Sitting there & watching AI Wand take half a dozen turns is no fun and this button will really help speed up matches & save everyone the misery of waiting.
A lot of other games have this and it will benefit everyone.
Thanks!

Having to sit and watch the AI take every single extra turn was actually the main issue I had with the old Journey troops. Once the CPU got their loop started I’d quit every time because I simply couldn’t stand to watch the slow defeat.

Playing a game or sitting and watching an AI play a game?
had fun fighting Daughter of time + Wand
Crazy 5 mins of looping!

GoW a game where you
- Wait 5 sec to load a battle: this is just a timer not actual loading
- Wait for all the animations: just to waste time
- make a move: game play
- wait for the AI: the AI sleeps between actions to waste more time
- you win: more time wasting animations and dialogs that we have to click away
- click away all the messages, merchants: messages provide no value, merchants just waste time 90% of the time
- click around just to start the next battle
even retreat a battle is a mess of dialogs. The dialogs even prevent you from getting a merchant in some situation and this makes the overall appearance less than 15% (~9%).
this game is designed to waste time, there is no chance this will be solved!

This doesn’t even seem possible since the AI doesn’t have full knowledge of what gems are falling, let alone how the entirety of an entire turn is going to play out. Then there’s the fact that people would complain even more about the AI cheating if they could just hit skip and suddenly lose a fight they thought was unlosable.
No, that one actually IS bandwidth-dependent. Sure, the loading bar itself is admittedly just a looping animation, but at the end of each loop the game checks if everything is loaded and goes directly into battle once so.
In some cases (which may be spec/platform dependent), you can actually spot the exact moment it finishes loading because there’s a hitch in the loading bar’s animation.
On the other extreme, if there’s a timeout/disconnect then the loading bar animation will loop endlessly until the game detects the error.
