With all the complaining about the pointless and insulting nature of the “Buccaneer Bounty” and other offers, including how almost nothing is valued reasonably but significantly over priced; and how the developers claim that they need to make money to continue, I have this request for the developers:
Be transparent and show us in graphic form the distribution of actual real money purchases from players vs the offers you make. The more detailed the better, but at least we should know - which offers are the most purchased and which are not. I assume comparing costs of each offer as well would be a factor - but I am really interested in seeing what people are most interested in buying. I leave it to the community, especially those versed is statistical analysis, to enhance this suggestion as to exactly how the devs should go about this.
I am hoping that by the Devs doing this analysis and seeing first hand which offers get responses vs which are ignored, they will either drop the pointless ones OR, at the least, make improvements by lowering prices or providing more valuable items (such as dropping burning marks or Chaos orbs which are too RNG to be of value and instead offering definitive items of high value - dragonite, Immortal Souls, etc).
I think you will see that most long term players would agree that a campaign or kingdom pass is a good offer for what you get - but daily offers like key bundles or buccaneer bounty are rejected whole heartily by the community. Even the PvP pass, which I have painfully purchased twice - seems extremely overpriced at $15 American dollars. (Especially since the burning marks RNG is so bad.
I am also hoping that love of the game wins out over greed or the fear of “not being able to pay the bills” and the Company will see that lowering prices/offering good items will make them far more money in the long run than trying to bilk us for every miserable penny you can get in the short.
Thanks - let the commentary commence.
