Onuris Onouris will be the only Mythic Troop available in Glory, Gem, Guild & VIP Chests for the next 7 days.
What is people’s opinion on this one?
“It exists”/10
I think it’s fine as-is other than a semi-boring 3rd trait (doesn’t necessarily need to be changed, but would be cooler if the 3rd trait auto-targeted the weakest enemy in my opinion), but just as a turn dropping mythic it’s not the most exciting thing to cast. The less enemies alive, the less damage it does. It becomes a lot more interesting if you have a way for its cast to one shot enemies, but I’ll leave that for someone else to setup.
The art is the only good thing about the troop.
My immediate opinion is it took 300K Glory to get just one–which is easily the worst luck I’ve ever had when trying to get a Mythic–so I’m not a fan. ![]()
41k seals. Expensive ![]()
@Eika : It’s Fel’dras on steroids, but without the summon. And I don’t recall seeing very much of Fel’dras outside of randomly-generated “zombie” PvP teams that are Grosh’nak or Orc. (Or Explore mode.) It’s also a troop that gets weaker as you kill enemies.
On the bright side, no power creep here!
Onouris has his damage fall off when enemies have around 190ish durability (armor and life combined) because his damage scaling isn’t efficient enough, even with the bleed. He is better than Leio and has solid traits, but his spell needed to target the 2 weakest enemies, for us to use him like the classic Rope Dart/ Ubastet combo.
P.S. Raksha still need a 50% mana start because casting Troubadour on itself in a light storm for mana is somewhat ridiculous. Raksha-Free Blood is really good, but him and the other kitties need some help.![]()
I havnt used him yet
But do you think hell be usefull in high level dooms. Or high level factions.
As theres 4 enemies. With high magic.
I tested him in high level 500 faction assaults, and his damage deals about half the damage to targets, and Onouris needed 3 casts to beat enemies. It’s still a somewhat decent option for new players, as it does give them an option for
,
, and
Faction assaults and Tower of Doom. If his boost ratio was [1:1], and he could defeat level 500 enemies in 2 casts, he would feel much better. It’s another option for Raksha, and he is by now means weak, just…average.
Maybe if his final trait was reworked or something. “Give all Raksha allies 2 mana when matching 4 or more gems” to help with mana generation for that troop typing. Idk…
He will probably be my go to troop for raksha.
As the other mythics are mehhh
He is a legendary, Sekhema is way better.
Just as a lazy half-analysis? I don’t see any reason why I would be inclined to use Onouris over most of the Legendary/Mythic troops if I was going with a Raksha or a Pridelands restriction. I rate him below Ubastet and Umenath, Sekhma and Indrajit. His colors aren’t diverse enough from those Raksha to nudge me to use him when I’m filling in around other stuff, either.
Maybe I’ll screw around with him a little bit the next time I’ve got a justificaiton for myself to start futzing around with random troops. I might have force-attempted this weekend with the Faction Assault if the colors worked, because I’m screwing around with an all-Divine (with Priest hero) team. But it’ll probably have to wait until the Thursday class event the next time Pridelands week rolls around.
This troop strikes me as a “get one and stick it on the shelf to collect dust” mythic.
Ubastet is not meh.
