Even poker is rng.
52 cards, any card can come out.
Crossing the road is rng , a random car, a random heart attack.
Your just strange.

Try looking both ways when crossing a road.
Try not to look on your boots when u do so.
Try not to digest a lot of unhealthy food and go physical.
There are many ways to reduce RNG in real life, we all do daily. Except for you apparently
Not to say there is a special kind of human who also count cards, you know
Give me a reply, because if we can lose, it makes it unbeatable.
Us and the AI, have the same troops
Come on unbeatable crowd, is it unbeatable or not.
If it is, it means we would be. We’re firstttttt.
Also, in the interests of actually finding a real balanced power level, the scatter damage is weak. It IS boosted, so we need to factor that it. The boost ratio is x16, which is high, but still not crazy for scatter damage (Zarg’s boom pile is similar and boosted by gems destroyed). So, max boost is 16 x 4 troops x 2 status effects, totaling 128 extra damage. Still not amazing, but not weaker than every other scatter damage in the game. We don’t need to exaggerate to show it needs a buff.
Also, the spell isn’t only scatter damage. It also summons 1-3 troops. I hate the randomness of this. Let’s assume on average it summons two troops, though. That’s a pretty big effect, than gets ignored. Troops that summon and do another effect will have that effect be weaker.
Do you want the summon removed, and the scatter damage raised? Or would you rather keep it as a summoner and the damage stay the same?
As for the traits, 25% chance to summon another troop on death is kinda meh. Not the worst, but not great. Too much RNG and not a good enough effect most of the time. More annoying on enemy teams at higher levels, than anything. 50% skull resistance is decent. The last trait is stupidly weak, and needs buffing. I’d recommend curse and silence the first enemy on 4+ matches or at start of turn. That’s powerful, but not insane. If we’re sticking with terror now, 100% chance whatever you do (terror is already RNG based, it doesn’t need more of that), and either apply at start of turn or on 4+ matches.
Funny isn’t it , when you point out that unbeatable means we would be as we’re first.
So would you all like to say your wrong.
Would the attacker of been unbeatable or not.
Is it unbeatable or not.
Come on.
Current traits/spell effects has no place in any way for this troop. It’s not good for pvp, its not good for underspire, there are no use for it in any play. You will only use it when facing lack of ANYTHING more sensible. Instead of insightful rework we got yet another pile of the dust on the deck.
Nah, that’s not my point. It’s not impossible to STOP. It’s pretty easy to stop the third trait by stunning it. The issue is that the trait can trigger before that happens, but generally you’ll have one turn to try and stun it, and if you build a good team (assuming you can, based on restrictions) you might do just that.
What I keep saying is that if it gets lucky with the RNG, you’re screwed. You can’t uncurse and unsilence your team once they get cursed and silenced. We don’t have anything that can do that, other than Beetrix, and not even her if she gets stunned. Anything else is worthless in that situation.
Put it this way. Your whole team is cursed and stunned and silenced (unless they’re immune to it, like the one immortal on the team). Pitch the team you’re using and how you undo that, in a single turn. Show you can build a team to counter it.
Everyone writing big monologues about nothing.
Is it unbeatable or not. Yes or no.
If you say yes, as we go first. It makes us unbeatable.
So I only need a one word reply.
Unbeatable yes or no.
Is the player going 1st. Unbeatable or not.
It’s yes or no for both. Hurry up. No monologues needed.
Surprise surprise no quick replys, because it’s obviously not unbeatable, which is something the nerfers keep saying.
It was unbeatable! So we don’t have to have this insta-win thing in our games. Hurray!
The big question is, how many wanted this nerf? I can only see 2-3 heads in this topic. It blows my mind if that is what the devs based the changes on.
WHOCARE25 writing big monologues about nothing.
Can you counter it or not. Yes or no.
So I only need a one-word reply.
Counterable yes or no…
Etc. etc.
You’re arguing against yourself.
It’s not about it being impossible to stop. It’s what happens when you fail to stop it.
I’ll pick some other game I’ve been playing as an example. It’s an action game, where you basically swing a weapon to beat up things. The developers somehow got the idea it would be nice to introduce a freeze effect. Freeze in this case meaning you had to hammer a specific key for several seconds in order to be able to do anything again. Unfortunately, whatever froze you tended to still be around, so you would freeze again right away. Which turned the action game in some situations into a vastly unpopular key hammering game.
Lessons learned in this case, whatever you do, never, ever entirely take away player agenda. Speaking Gems of War, there must never be a situation where a player can no longer do anything meaningful at all for an extended period of time. This very much applies to having your whole team forced into an observer role while still repeatedly requiring input to skip your turn, possibly for several minutes in a row.
But your saying it’s unbeatable, which means we win every fight, as we go first.
No mate.
I can point out we’re you and others have said unbeatable.
So is the player going 1st. Using this troop.
Unbeatable or not.
Yes or no.
@WHOCARES25 Be careful so they dont squeeze you in a corner for an easy ban. Let them allow to have their opinion no matter how much you disagree. I have been through this at least 3 times, just keep it calm.
Yes! Its unbeatable as we go first, so its pure play2win. So it got removed. Makes all the sense!
Dont you dare bringing here other games UX decisions. Here guys trying to say we’re playing pocker here at gow..
How can a trait on the enemy trigger.
Before our 1st turn. It can’t. Wtf .
Listen we go first.
If it’s as overwhelmingly powerful as you point out
Then the attacker, us as we’re first. Wins.
Out of the hundred or so players who use the forum regularly, out of the dozen or so paying attention to spoilers, out of the three or so that feel willing to stick their heads above the parapets and risk getting attacked by people grumpy they don’t get a new toy that can curbstomp the enemy… yeah, 2-3 heads sticking up yelling back.
Several people on chat have said they’re glad this got nerfed. They’re not happy how meh it is now, but they prefer it. But it’s impossible to know how many wanted it nerfed before it was launched. If it was launched and there was a bunch of people demanding it be nerfed then, we still wouldn’t know how many wanted it nerfed vs how many wanted it left overpowered.
It’s kinda irrelevant. We all know it was too powerful. That’s why some people want it. That’s why some people wanted it nerfed. It it hadn’t been nerfed, there would have been a wave of complaints, and it would almost certainly have been nerfed eventually.
Listen. I know about the clique.
But Drac abused me personally.
As I’m just pointing out, basic English on a English speaking forum.
Unbeatable means we’re unbeatable as we’re first.
