Elemaris Elemaris will be the only Mythic Troop available in Glory, Gem, Guild & VIP Chests for the next 7 days.
Really, even elemaugrim is dead content but not like this. Traits are weak and useless. And a curse and burn is the only good synergy. But there a way better passive troops for that mater.
A troop that supports Elemaugrim and has a 3rd trait that references Elemaugrim… but has the same exact colors as Elemaugrim so you couldn’t really use them together. ![]()
This is an epic troop at best. Sorry to say, but what a useless troop
This is a really bad mythic And it doesn’t even make sense where it’s from
A new Legendary and Mythic troop used to be released to chests on a monthly basis.
Ever since troops became locked behind a pvp wall we no longer get a legendary troop in chests and have only gotten Temu mythic troops.
Weird.
Legendary troops tend to be released through holiday events rather than event chests these days.
Drake rider, Deep huntsman, and Gindibu all circle and laugh at Elemaris’ 3rd trait, which is on par with Regent Khalif’s.
This troop should be a legendary, not mythic.
I like when troops either reference one another or have direct synergies. This one is a big miss sadly
.
The majority of new mythic troops are space fillers for one’s collection and a number towards a 300 Kingdom XP task and little more. I’ve long since stopped getting aggravated by this because there’s simply no purpose to doing so. The largely “deflationary” spiral of troop power isn’t a desirable situation, but nor would that be the case if we had a more “inflationary” spiral instead – e.g., Diamantina to Stellarix to Chrysantherax.
We get one or two worthwhile mythic troops per year, but otherwise the meta doesn’t change very much. I’ve dis-invested from this game enough that this is good enough for me.
I do like the House of the Dragon vibes in the artwork though
Not asking for power creep. Just useful
I’d take useful or fun. Elemaris does neither.
The sad truth is this troop would be better as an Epic or Legendary since it wouldn’t be blocking all 3 of Elemaugrim’s colors at the same time.
I think it would have been more “fun” if there was like a 50% chance to transform into a full mana Elemaugrim after (Elemaris’s) cast and the 3rd trait was changed to Curse and Burn a Random Enemy after an Ally casts.
Wait are you me? Get out of my head! Ahhhhhhh!
When there are nearly 1800 troops already released, “useful” becomes significantly more difficult to pull off. Either you have to lean into that inflationary power spiral, which is a pretty good way to destroy the game, or you have to release a bunch of duplicate troops. (Like six/seven flavors of the same dragonite dragon.)
Ok how about unique? Something that adds the new effect gems? So few mythics have mythic level 3rd skills now
Something positive…mmmmmm nice artwork…???
traits that summon “on death” or “when I die” or “after death”. (Hey, can we please use unified terms?)
Daemonic Pact, generic trait of many daemons and daemon cultists, 25% Ancient Horror, (common ~ mythic) → ur.
Dragon Boon, generic trait of some troops with tie of dragon, 25% Dragonette, (common ~ legendary) → rare.
Herd Spirit, generic trait of centaurs, 25% Centaur Scout, (common ~ epic) → common.
Nature Pact, generic trait of Archdruid Blackwood and Archdruid, 25% Dryad, (ur ~ mythic) → rare.
Pack Master, generic trait of Warg and War Wolf, 25% Dire Wolf, (rare ~ ur) → common.
Stone Pact, generic trait of some Hellcrag troops, 25% Stone Mefyt, (ur ~ mythic) → rare.
Terror Pact, generic trait of some Zhul’Kari dark elves, 25% Night Terror (spider), (rare ~ legendary) → rare.
So 25% chance of summoning a common to ur troop is a solid benchmark for generic summon-on-death trait.
Desert Mount, unique trait of Gindibu, 100% Caravan Camel, epic → ur.
Spider Mount, unique trait of Deep Huntsman, 100% Tomb Spider, ur → epic.
Loyal Mount, unique trait of Drake Rider, 100% Drake, ur → rare.
This “mount” serial traits set a good benchmark for unique (normal) trait. 100% of rare to epic is acceptable level of power.
Dark Covenant, unique trait of Possessed King, 25% Envy, mythic → rare.
Wolf Companion, unique trait of Shar’Gral, 25% Warfang, epic → epic.
Spawn, unique trait of Dragon Eggs, 25% Baby Dragon, common → common.
Dissolve, unique trait of The Slime Dragon, 25% Green Slime, legendary → epic.
Blight Master, unique trait of Houndmaster Gor, 25% Blight Hound, epic → epic.
Parrot Cry, unique trait of Freebooter, 25% Parrot, ur → rare.
Infernal Pact, unique trait of Infernal Trickster, 25% Hellhound, rare → rare.
I’ve Got a Door!, unique trait of Ogress, 100% Fortress Gate, rare → common.
Some traits, like blight master and wolf companion, can boost to “mount” level because it fits story-wise. Other traits, like infernal pact, are more like generic traits that temporarily just one troop has.
Hidden Nest, legendary trait of Nocturnia, 50% Fell Dragon Egg, legendary → ur.
Rebirth, legendary trait of The Dragon Soul, 50% Baby Dragon (full mana), legendary → common. (Baby dragon will transform to a random dragon on cast, so it should not be considered as just a “common” rarity troop.)
Draconic Soul, legendary trait of Elemaris, 25% Elemaugrim, mythic → mythic.
Dao’s Puppet, legendary trait of Regent Khalif, 25% Dao, legendary → mythic.
Here comes our new guy. Just because summoned troop is mythic doesn’t make that trait “legendary” enough, in my opinion. The chance should go up to 75% or 100%, with 50% as lowest acceptable level.
Ancient Soul, unique trait of Amenhotrax, 15% resurrect (full mana).
Deadly Soul, unique trait of Demizerius, 15% resurrect (full mana).
Bloody Soul, unique trait of Hematrax, 15% resurrect (full mana).
Deep Soul, unique trait of Krakynos, 15% resurrect (full mana).
Cursed Soul, unique trait of Runethius, 15% resurrect (full mana).
Eldritch Soul, unique trait of Vizinium, 15% resurrect (full mana).
Infernal Soul, unique trait of Pandemonia, 15% resurrect (full mana).
These are unique traits of Evil Dragons. Pretty much a second legendary trait in fact.
Eternal Dawn, legendary trait of Quetzalma, 20% resurrect (full mana).
Immortal, legendary trait of Infernal King, 25% resurrect.
Resurrection traits have chance of 20% to 25%. Since it can trigger repeatedly, it also shows that chance of summon-on-death legendary traits should be higher than 25%.
Nice summary of traits that feed into the worst mechanic in the game. Summon on death wastes everybody’s time, wish the devs would ditch it.
(along with skulls in skyfall, but that’s another conversation)
I like the summon on death. It does work in some modes.
The thing with this troop is, the troop it summons is better than this , so you actually want it to die
.
I don’t think there’s another troop in game, that dies and summons a better troop ![]()
