@Zuul-Emo - I’m so pleased you did this! (Saves me from doing it, and I haven’t the time right now.)
When I personally do calculations like this, I’m always focussed on trying to answer specific questions. That’s what all my reference tables (quick plug) try to do.
In this case, my biggest question was, should I convert Deeds into Books of Deeds? And I think the answer was: “yes, but keep at least 1 Deed of each colour, since it will round up.” That’s great!
But I’ve realised I have another question. As an end-game player, I have 22 kingdoms at L20, 1 at L19, 5 at L18, and 10 at L16. Before the update drops, I’m likely to be able to convert one L18 Kingdom to L19, and possibly another. Is this worth doing?
Thanks for any more info.
PS: Maybe the question I should be asking is, should I upgrade as many of those L16 Kingdoms to L17 before the update?
Thanks, DDPGreen did most of it, I just added to it.
As far as converting deeds into books, it feels like that should be the right idea, but the numbers say no. It’s best not to. You get more from keeping the deeds than from books.
It’s best not to spend any deeds or books leveling up any kingdom that is above level 13, so I wouldn’t raise the level 18 ones to 19, or the 16 ones to 17. Better to save the resources and after 9.2, spend them to upgrade the same (or other) kingdoms more.
That looks good.
I was personally wanting to avoid the “Buy/Craft 0 things” and replace it with “Don’t do x” but you also resolved a different issue I was running into and added more advice than I was considering, so we’ll go with yours. Thanks!
I merged your column into my sheet as well.
…So does anyone know about how the conversion treats kingdom power tasks? Like, there’s a table for kingdom XP per power level:
Kingdom Power
Level Kingdom XP per level
1 – 5 620
6 – 10 720
11 – 20 958
21 – 30 1,000
Would this be instead of the XP you’d get for completing the kingdoms tasks? Or in addition? If it’s instead, then it looks really bad - kingdom tasks give 300 XP each as we’ve seen, right? and it takes three tasks to raise a power level, which would be 900 XP, which you only get above power 10. But if it’s in addition, then it’s really good and upgrading as many kingdoms as possible would be beneficial…?
Do you mean for example - we now have to Trait 39 troops to power level 30 in a kingdom. And i have a 45 traited troops there. Would we after a 9.2 have
a progression of 39 troops counted as power 30 and an additional 6 tasks ready to claim up
A progression is just transfered to a task to trait 46 troops without any additional XP
As I understood it, yes.
So, as some have pointed out, it’s best NOT to do anything right now, like traiting troops or upgrading pets and weapons, as you’ll get more for doing it after 9.2 than before.
not quite - it’s like with power/lvl transition. it’s not the same as if you’d start from the begining and rise all of your troops 1 by 1 to level 20 and traited 3
That sounds like it could be really bad. Like, losing out on hundreds of kingdom XP, bad. If we take the worst case scenario, which I think is a kingdom at exactly power 10 with all tasks completed, then that’d be roughly ~9000 XP if you got 300 per task… But only 6700 by the conversion, assuming I did my math right? So you’d be losing out on 2300 XP, with no way to get it back. I suppose the task progression is a little different, so maybe your power ten kingdom only skips 25 tasks, instead of 30? But that still leaves you getting only 6700 XP instead of the 7500 you would have had otherwise, and thus missing out on 800 XP. And given you get, like, 1 or 2 crystals a week it sounds like, that’s still 4-8 weeks to catch up, per kingdom at power 10…
not again) we’ve talked all friday about that with zuul. You’ll start at the progress you’ve maid till the 9.2 and then will progress in a new way. You’ll lose nothing in terms of stats and (probably) tributes or something and get a new posibilities to levelup more further than you could now. Like okay - we have 9.2 which is changing progression in “unfair way” then imagine it would be a 15.2 version in 2030 with a brand new system, so don’t use youur crystals in 9.2, it would be best to use them in 15.2.
But do we know that? Based on the math I just posted, it seems uncertain. I suppose we’ll find out tomorrow, but I would rather have had more details ahead of time.
