We wait till one of those two kingdom events roll around again. Which feels perfectly okay for me, considering that we can max one of the two pets without spending any gems. Or even spread the orbs around a bit to get more value out of them. I see no reason to complain, quite the contrary, this is a great compensation.

Basically got a fully paid future cosmetic pet release worth around a ~2500gems exchange.
Plus 50gems.
With pet mastery at max lvl ingame I personally appreciate this truely massive compensation - thanks.
