that’s indeed a long-term project to ascend the guardians, 1500 seals = 75 keys a week, 50%'ish chance, lets say 36 guardians on average, that’s 6 of a kind each week, you need 191 to ascend a common card, that’s 31-32 weeks. Nice!
(and then there’ll be that one color you will get a lot less of, because RNG muahaha)

I think the video said once Mythic you don’t get them any more, so that should help.
Once they’re ALL mythic, we remove them from the pool… so it won’t help you get that last one, but on the plus side, once they’re all done, you’ve effectively got a bunch of extra Gem Keys every week if you’re in a good guild.
Question about that - what about duplicates? I mean, Mythic is a milestone, but the last milestone is four Mythics. I can already think of teams I’d want two of the green guardian on, haven’t even seen the other four.

To be fair, we still don’t know what the gold key economy is like with this patch. We could be drowning in those for a change.

This actually made me cry if you will troll your guild this way will this mean that 29 other members will get kicked due to not fullfilling the minimal gold requirements? =))
The videos shows a list of tasks that will also us to gain seals.
Is that list exhaustive or will the tasks change once we have claimed our gains?
Is there a cap? If we win 100 battles, are we going to gain 100 x 4 seals or will only part of those battles give us seals, for example?
That’s actually a good question in general, surely it will happen often in top guilds that some will be blocked from fulfilling requirements. Possibly guilds will need to change their rules to account to that (either force a maximum as well, or give guildies a break if cap is reached).
The update seems quite interesting. There seems to be some great new content coming…
But what I didn’t see or hear you say in the video is if there is going to be a new kingdom with 2.1?
With previous updates there (almost) always was a new kingdom and I was kind of hoping there would be one in this update too?
we sell LOTS of maps in the weekly subscription to low level players who enjoy the Treasure mini-game, and can’t be bothered, or who don’t want to farm them with Tyri.
I guess the relative quantity and position of the reward makes me feel a little better about maps still taking part of the total guild income, but I do still have to wonder how many of said people buying map subscriptions are actually contributing members of guilds.
Regarding Gems & Glory Keys… if you take those in isolation… you’re going to get a LOT less than you did before if you’re one of the 0.17% of players in the very top few guilds.
If we look at the chart, my guild would be somewhere around the “Active Mid-Range guild”, getting around 800 to 1000 gems and slightly more glory keys per week. However, judging from the rewards put forth in the preview, it looks like any relevant resource gain will actually be lower even at this level. Most of the new things provided aren’t overly difficult to get to the point where they don’t really matter anymore. I guess I am apparently in the top 2% in this regard, so my view may be a bit skewed there. Out of all the “statue bonuses” not relating to actually finishing a weekly task completely, the only one that would really be a bonus to me would be the red one, tribute chance since it would increase my weekly gems and gold keys gained from tributes by proxy. I just find it so hard to believe from how hard it already is to get base mythics with what my guild is earning that it is going to get even harder.
There is also the matter of new troop ascensions, where certain troops are pretty much unusable at a low rarity due to skill point values in a PvP environment where everything old is already ascended to legendary or mythic.
I’m still concerned about giving skill bonuses for the week after closing out tasks. This seems to be so one-sided that it probably won’t end up being fun for anyone, with the top players getting every skill bonus on day 1, and everyone else getting none at any point during the week.
Another concern I forgot to bring up earlier is that it looks like only a certain amount of each “color” xp will be available every week. I thought one of the tenets of the new guild system would be to give newer guilds a chance to “catch up”, but I don’t really see how this would be the case, here.
I don’t mean to be focusing overly on the negative here, these new features look really nice. I’m just concerned about regressing to the point where kingdom progress isn’t measured by how many souls or traitstones I could gather, but rather my ability to even obtain a given troop through RNG. One of the things I really like about the current iteration of the game was the ability to progress to the point to not be concerned about RNG in this regard. Especially with more star levels now potentially requiring base mythics, as might end up happening with Ghulvania. Waiting for my last legendary to drop just to get a kingdom star sucked, but eternally being in this state really sounds like no fun, to me.
Again putting it out there that if there was a subscription service that scaled with actual play (eg., double guild task rewards for $10-15 a month), I would definitely be a subscriber. Denying me one troop through RNG, though, is more likely to irritate me than get me to spend money to obtain it. Especially if I can’t even buy it until six months down the road.
Kingdom every two months like clockwork, typically not announced until its right there. We got Leonis in late July, so three weeks from now, give or take?

I’ll see your last Legendary and raise you a last Common. I don’t ever want to see a new kingdom’s 8th troop be an event Common, or even Rare … Although I suppose we’re going past 5-stars finally so there’s going to be a boundary somewhere.
And again, don’t know what the economy is going to be like yet. I’m still just frustrated over being stalled by measly Commons on a couple of kingdoms (Legendaries I can understand).

But I like to save up until I can ascend a troop again (and have 4 remaining) in case you guys ever add a level beyond mythic. For instance, I don’t disenchant extras until I have 14 copies of a (base) Legendary, 29 copies of an epic, 54 copies of an ultra rare, 104 copies of a rare, and 204 copies of a common…
Literally unplayable if the last mythic drops after only 4 copies!

There’s just one thing I wish you would bring back. The ‘disenchant all’ button. That would make me, as well as a lot of other people happy. Is there any way you could add that to the update? Or the next one at least.
