It’s tied to the server updating too, correct?
Developer of life is like that. When you want to put a service in production there is no time to stop.
Me too.
Cannot wait for this update!!! My 1st forum post ever. In any forum, this one seems amazing!
I know it is hard for us to admit but a late update that runs smoother is still preferable. We have all just fallen victim to the fanboy plague at the moment!
The 2.0mbie plague!
Definitely me in the morning
This will be me any minute now, I can’t keep my eyes open anymore. Goodnight all, enjoy the new patch when it finally goes up!
Welcome!
This forum is pretty amazing…
Welcome to the forum!
Sleep well
I thought it was late in the day like 1 am for them or something along those lines, you are ok.
… and the developers open a new thread to tell us its online to prevent crashing…kidding
Welcome! It really is a special forum!
Guys, I understand that we are to stand by the developers but also as a developer of enterprise systems I can say that this strategy is not very efficient. Imagine if this game was a buying and selling stock system. How much damage would a customer getting 3 or 4 hours without your service? I’m sure there are strategies to mitigate this effort to upgrade version without leaving with several players can not enjoy your enjoyment.
It’s almost as if you’ve never played a video game before…
While I agree there are some ways to mitigate it. The core of the issue is that not only do they have to get the updates to the client, but they also need to update their own servers (which might not be hosted on site) and then have to make sure that nothing is broken before they allow people back on. There are very few ways to mitigate this further than they have, and none of them are economical.
The thing is, it’s a game not a stock service. No one will die because they can’t play a game for 4 hours. Good lord…
yawning…
you sure… im pretty sure i could kill my kids for bugging me about when they can play during a 4 hour window lucky they are in bed.
