Guild Wars should be located under the PvP button in a “pop out” exactly like Arena and Treasure Hunt pop out from Mini Games.
When a player selects the PvP menu you would be presented with 2 options ‘Regular PvP’ and ‘Guild Wars’. Of course the Devs can wordsmith ‘Regular PvP’.

I see many options here. This one is good as well. 
This would have the added benefit of making GW obviously a PvP match. Someone already was surprised by this fact…
Yes thanks, Guild Wars is absolutely a subset of PvP
- Troops with PvP traits activate (just like PvP)
- You revive Trophies, PvP Event Stones, PvP Points, XP, etc…
