Why not cheat? (A public letter to the devs)

Yeah, i believe some individuals could manage large guilds, but a great portion would probably fail at that. This would become a great problem to new players as some guilds would struggle, even more, at their beggining, but that’s a consideration just assuming that suddenly we could have 60 slots on each guild and that each task would cost twice as much to be completed.

Desiging it properly, even in theory as we are doing now, wouldn’t be so simple… If the devs would opt out for a system where the guild would become bigger based on progression of the statues, for example, and therefore have extra costs for tasks based in the amount of guild members it could work with a few possible issues.

Imagine balancing the economy of new guilds versus the hard cap of older guilds. In a certain point where the statues bonus are nearly at their peak, wouldn’t be “better” to just abandon an old guild and join a newish one with fewer members, and therefore, cheaper tasks? That is, considering there is no increase in the rewards, only in the costs.

But if the older guilds would also have an increase in rewards, depending of how big/old they are, then the competition to join such guilds would become an issue as well as the economic impact making old guilds more “profitable” for their members…

Well, i’m not saying it couldn’t be done, but considering that the devs are supposedly happy with this aspect of the game i wouldn’t put much hope on any change.
