Okay, just cos this is a little easier to have one update spot to check, here is what I am working on at the moment, given Guild Wars just ended.

This does not mean I am not working on other things.. just this is what my eyeballs are on today and likely this week and this is what information I have at this moment.

Please keep all new reports in their own bug threads and any further comments in their own existing threads

Last day of Guild Wars rewards not received
Team is currently investigating, we will get those rewards out to everyone who had not received them.

“Yesterdays battle” information is incorrect
This was a visual issue only. All rewards, ranking, scores, etc, were tracked correctly in your data, so no one should have missed any rewards or scoring from this.

GW Medallion unavailable for SONY players
Unfortunately, as this issue was caused by how the offer was set up in the SONY store, which is handled outside of the IP2 team and involved contacting SONY themselves. Which is why this issue was unable to be resolved before Guild Wars ended.
Nothing within the Pass is exclusive, so the Tokens for the Season Troop will be available in chests later.

Fighting a Guild multiple times during Guild Wars
Mentioned in this thread, but just in case, there are some further updates that need to be made to the matchmaking to prevent instances where someone is matched against someone twice. This seems to happen when there is an odd number of Guilds in a ELO “bracket”.

CLIFFY error when trying to collect the PvP Goal - Ladder Climber (or general issues)
Awaiting the team to look into this error.

XBOX check purchase error:0 pop up
From our investigations, this commonly has been appearing if players leave their consoles to sleep and not completely shutting down the console between play sessions, while Gems of War is running still.
If this is something you do, for now till it is resolved, please try to shut down your XBOX completely or at least Gems of War between playing. This includes not just having GOW closed but available for quick launch.

If you get this error:0 message, you can just click through it for now and resume playing.

Guild leader cannot kick players
Had a couple of reports about this, so thought to include it.
I have had some players mention this resolves after a couple of days. If you submit a ticket about this, please reply ASAP if it resolves itself before I reply or you get a second reply.

Just a personal note, please remind your fellow Guildies or Alliance members, that at the end of a Season your VP Icons are converted to VP for the next Season.
It’s in the PvP Season article and mentioned in the PvP Shop, also working on getting the Season Ending news to call it out as well!
But in the meantime, remind your mates, so they don’t reach out thinking they are missing Icons!

Also, I will be sharing a big blog soon to finally share an update on our support system moving from IP2 and Zendesk to 505 and Freshdesk. Hold all questions on this, till the blog is released. I will not be answering any until then.

A fix for this was released last night, unfortunately after the GW even had ended.

unfortunately too late. And it is not true that there is no exclusive item in the Medallion pass. Artema tokens are time-exclusive, like many things in the game for real money. According to this logic, nothing is exclusive in the Medallion pass, so almost nothing in the game is exclusive except for armor.

have you played artema? or you did not because of low shine? It’s cosmetics like other shiny troops (with a small exeptions). Just stop complaining here and there (not you personaly). You don’t really need it and don’t wanna buy it anyway, so whats’s the point in that sufferings

Do you know what I want to buy and what I don’t? Yes, I wanted to buy the Medallion just like in the previous GW, but I couldn’t, and shiny tokens are really objectively not cosmetics, since they reduce the required mana and strengthen the spell. Feel free to defend the developers’ incompetence here, I used to do that too, but after almost 10 years of actively supporting them financially and a lot of lies, I’m running out of patience with them.

Hi Jeto,I have a question, why do you claim that there is nothing exclusive in Madailon, when most of the purchases in the game are time exclusivity (campaign pass, pvp pass, kingdom pass) it’s like you’re saying, it doesn’t matter that you can’t buy it, there’s nothing there anyway.

Because it’s not exclusive, you cannot only get the tokens by purchasing the offer. They are available outside of the offer.

It is timed, sure.. but then it is available for everyone. I would not consider something that becomes available for everyone, as exclusive.

It’s largely a collector’s game where you pay to have some units before people who don’t want to or can’t pay, no one knows when the shiny tokens for legendary cards will be in the chest pool, because as far as we know Shegra is still not there, we tried that out of more than 11,000+ shiny keys.And what saddens me the most is that developers often don’t tell the truth, it’s disrespectful to customers.

So what is exclusive in the game? Only armor? So according to you, there is no point in buying anything else, because by this logic there is nothing exclusive in the campaign pass, kingdom pass or pvp pass.

Personally, as a player of games.. I don’t buy anything or I do rarely, if I can try and earn it for free. The times I have spent money in a F2P game have been to unlock something faster, or to get some sort of bonus to, again, unlock something faster.

At IP2 we aim to not have anything, or a minimal amount of items to be locked behind a paywall. If you are spending money, it is to progress faster than someone else who is not spending money.
But yes, there is nothing in those Passes currently that you can’t get later without spending money.

Spending will give you a VIP level, which gives you bonuses, extra team slots etc.. so I guess that’s exclusive to someone who has made purchases?

Also, I imagine there are a LOT of players who have very strong opinions against having things behind a paywall.. am amount that would outweigh the players who do want exclusives.

Not to say that these Passes shouldn’t have valuable items in them, but currently we don’t have anything in a Pass you cannot eventually get for free.

To be fair, if a game was being released and it offered something as a pre-order bonus that was only available to those who pre-ordered, for a limited time, it would be listed as a “timed exclusive”. Like they have a skin that pre-order customers get right away, but everyone else can buy after 6 months or something.
So, yeah, if it’s exclusive for a set amount of time, it IS exclusive, just a timed exclusive, rather than a permanent exclusive.

I prefer stuff that’s a timed exclusive instead of a permanent exclusive, I’m totally with you, but it’s kind of a “lie” (a half-truth, maybe) to say it’s NOT an exclusive. Not trying to be rude, because I don’t think you’re trying to lie, just that the wording isn’t accurate and it can come across that way.

Yeah, it’s a fine balance, but I think you do OK.

Yeah, there’s definitely some stuff that is listed as a timed exclusive that we’re still waiting for, and eventually you need to either make it available or accept that it was permanently exclusive, not a timed exclusive. Campaign pets are one of those things. We really need them to be available.

The Pets, like the troops, they go into the Pet Rescue pool later. That being said, the pool, is huge and I know there are a lot of cosmetic pets in there.

I can ask again about ensuring more Campaign Pets are in the weekly pet rescues.

I know that almost everything is only time-exclusive, and that’s perfectly fine, I’m not calling for something to be only behind a paywall, we just don’t understand that time exclusivity is also exclusivity, and that’s what you’re basing your entire monetization on, so it’s surprising when you tell me that it’s not actually exclusive and that I can get it. But when will you tell me because Shegra or Grand Inquisitor are still not in the shiny chest pool. So I’m asking when will these units from Broken Spire be there and when will Artema be there? And do you think it’s fair that those who didn’t buy the Medallion in the first GW could buy it now and those who bought it in the first GW lost this opportunity? and giving 50 gems as compensation is…

I have no horse in this race, but after seeing that it takes 3k+ shiny keys to get all the current shiny troops maxed (that number shall keep increasing with every new shiny troops released), claiming that a player ‘can’ get a specific troop maxed is technically true, but a bit disingenuous in the practice.

Therein likely lies the players’ frustration, with a simple solution being offering the package again for those who wanted to buy it but were unable to.

We ran some final testing for this late last night, so just waiting for the final update on when these are getting pushed to live.
