I did a similar calculation, but I positioned the first 5 battles earning ~200 mythstones (my current explore kingdom gets +30% mythstones) and 6th battle taking away 250.
This meant each of the first 5 battles earns ~40 mythstones, while the side quests each earn ~20.
So agree that if u don’t need the side quest bonuses, then avoid them.
Thank you for doing the math! I’d skip all side quests, except I’ve found myself in short supply of white pet food ever since pet food became much more relevant in 9.2.
Most of my Kingdom Power progression before 9.2 was pet-level blocked. Being able to spend Crystals to level the Kingdom up (to a point) as an alternative to completing Tasks is a nice option to exist, even if I don’t personally use it myself.
Hey @Jeto . I know you mentioned that you had floated a possible mimic increase to the dev team for higher explore levels, but have you mentioned anything else about the players seeking the Hoard Mimic card/achievement?
Of course, more mimics showing up would theoretically help with that, but also just a higher drop rate on the card when you do finally encounter the Hoard Mimic or an alternate way to obtain it like the Vault or Forge. The card isn’t that good, and some like me have been searching endlessly for it for over 500 hours to no avail. I created a thread about this two years back that recently got bumped and you said you’d look into it for 9.3. Could you see if that card can be made easier to obtain?
People in forums/achievement sites have mentioned it’s roughly 3 layers of 10% rng to obtain the card itself. 10% to get the Mimic, then another 10% chance to get the Hoard Mimic, followed by a 10% chance to get the card drop. These may not be official numbers but they seem to be a consensus among people who have done extensive testing. I have encountered 14 Hoard mimics in those 500 hours but never got the card to drop from them. Praying that they will eventually do something to help.
Also the broken/unobtainable achievements that have been listed on the website for years, any update on those? Some of them have been unobtainable for 3 years now. The one I specifically need is Sentinel Prime, but there are others that are broken. Please let us know. I try not to do any more than ask about this every few months, but it just never gets any kind of resolution.
I actaully was a stupid old player and never turned my books and deeds cause honestly there was no point in spending that kind of gold and books for maybe a bit more gold. I still had Underworld Hoardes to get up. So when conversion happened, ya I managed to get 19 of my kingdoms over 50 based on Magic and Attack kingdoms first. And the remaining 19 are at 40 or a bit higher.
I have to agree, I got more weekly deeds (campaign and farming) than I am getting these little crystals… And I don’t NEED Shiney Dust… useless
4 Trophies for E13-E16 would somewhat compensate for the significantly slowed-down exploration. And it would simply be a logical continuation of the trophy increase from exploration…
Perhaps I’m missing something, but aside from meeting arbitrarily set guild requirements, I don’t understand how an extra trophy helps you progress in the game?
It’s not about game progression, but rather consistency within the game: higher difficulty requirements should mean higher rewards—specifically regarding gold, Mythstones, AND trophies.
And incidentally, if there are leaderboards where a guild’s value is determined solely by the trophies earned, then—especially in that context—it logically follows that the higher-level explorations should award four trophies.
Can anyone explain why the Kingdom Helper offer still exists under this new Kingdom Power system? At least in the old system, it pretended to make sense.
Now I’m getting offered 1 Event Key to help level Bright Forest because… reasons?
46 Bright Forest troops to level 20 is not yet achieveable
@Jeto this update adjusted old offers to offer Crystals instead of Deeds. Maybe we could get this Kingdom Offer for 1 event key on unrelated tasks finally removed out or changed into a shiny key offer or something a tiny bit more useful or heavily limit the offers appearance to be for Kingdoms under a way lower level. (my Bright Forest is 50)
Peeps r gonna play e13 - e16 coz of shiny dust and medals. An extra trophy isn’t needed as an incentive.
I feel bad for whoever had the idea to introduce Genie and Daemon offers, and then whoever came up with the side quests, not to mention all the programming involved. They must cry when they see the stats of people opting to completely sidestep their idea/work.
As others have suggested, the side quests need to have a piece of Shiny Dust or particle of a Star Stone to make them relevant/fun/useful.
I don’t need tokens or badges anymore —hence the idea of using trophies as an incentive for end-game players—but it seems there’s no explanation forthcoming…
