Another new pvp season means another new pvp mythic with issues.
2 different bugs
Gorr Murktooth:
The spell chooses the targets at the same time, so if the first heavy splash damage kills the 2nd target (the splash portion), the 2nd cast doesn’t come out. Yeah, once again. So much for “and a random Enemy”
If the 2nd set of heavy splash damage is responsible for killing any enemy, the “If an Enemy dies, gain my Mana back.” does not trigger.
sorry, having troubles getting video nowadays on my end, so I’m trying to save getting videos for more obscure less repeatable things. thanks for getting a video
In my experience, the interrupted splash was almost only happening if an opponent was defeated with the splash damage, it wasn’t getting interrupted if the selected enemy troop was also killed off.
Both similar and different to other instances of splash being interrupted.
As for the no mana gain, I only got it once in all my testing and couldn’t reproduce it in any way consistently.
This one is more of a Explore 12/higher hp type of thing where you cast on a pretty healthy enemy and it survives, but then the second cast hits the second set of enemies and lands a kill on a weaker enemy (probably weakened from previous casts).
Using Faerie Fire (Mistmother/Glitterclaw) helps with fudging the numbers and boosting damage output for that kind of testing purpose. I mean, Faerie Fire is generically useful, so its not exactly going out of the way to use it either.
Oh I even tried on a dev server where I could manually adjust opponent health to be low so I could one shot em, so I could repeat multiple battles quickly.
Don’t you find it odd that this happens right after you announce a fix for this and the other spell issue coming out? All troop pictures and whatnot else gone again.
There was a graphical issue that is not visible to players, that is also getting resolved. There wasn’t a post made, because nothing in that fix is going to be visible to players.
The download required is to include the asset fix and the bugs I listed.. its not the reverse of a graphical issue being caused by these bug fixes
Sure, what else was there to expect? It cannot possibly be related to anything you did and my game just randomly decided to break the assets.
Riddle me this, riddler, then - why these random events only ever happen after updates or bug fixes and never on an ordinary day?
