That is also a QOL I made, to have an option to toggle off animations. I assume there are some that can’t, like other video games where animations are used as like a loading screen - but that feedback has been shared.
My issue personally is the Campaign Star animation.
In all fairness, this does not speak for me at all. I don’t exactly have a “speedrun mentality” when it comes to farming battles.
How about the delay when you complete a Campaign Task? The two-second time interval as it slowly fades out the completed task then slowly fades the panel back in. If I’ve completed all 3 tasks for this week before checking, I would enjoy having a “collect all” type button instead of having to slowly click on them one at a time.
any update on this issue? ETA for the fix would be appreciated.

Nothing past my last message
Client change is an update.
I was farming a few Explore battles over the weekend when I noticed the delay (or rather, lack of ability to skip), so let me add this:
Touchscreen controls were never affected by this issue.
That is to say, with touchscreen controls, you have to tap somewhere other than the center of the dialog (where the offers are) to back out/skip the encounter, then select the Yes/No confirmation (which is located in the center of the screen) that pops up.
So the original complaint was strictly related to playing the game with a controller; it was not necessary to dsiable the skip entirely (aka. in a way that also affects touchscreen/mouse inputs).
This game has so many useless and long winded animations that pop up now.
The amount of “offer” pop-ups for overpriced items and the constant bright green ! for the overpriced shrines we’re bad enough as it is.
But not being able to skip all animations or turn all of them off altogether makes the game feel even slower and more grindy. I feel like I spend more time waiting for animations to end so I can back out of them/close them then I do actually playing the game.
The team is in the process of implementing a change where you tap > the animation snaps/finishes/skips > the offer is available to close out.
So you don’t need to sit through the entire animation to skip the offer.
I think this is an 8.5 release at this stage.
This is too simple for them.
How hard can it be just to implement a on/off button in the options menu to decide for the player itself if he wants to have that merchants thing or not?
Extremely hard…for the devs…since they give zero craps about the playerbase.
Look how quick they fixed the shiny key debacle. Soon as it affects their money they are on it. Anything else can go whistle
One is a server fix and the other, like I said, is a client fix.
So when you guys, changed the speed of the offer.
You changed both server and client.
Lets be honest, how do we know, thats the truth.
Is there any bug, in game right now.
That you guys can fix within a day, like the shiny key mistake on your part bug.
Choose any bug and fix it for your customers.
the ‘fix’ is in but its not what i was expecting. if we press now outside the offer, it just speeds up the animation when it should actually bring up the pop up to decline. so actually now we have to keep pressing outside the offer to finally get the pop up which means more slowing down of explore.
can you please just revert it back to the way it was? that was the original ask of this issue - if player presses cancel (b button on xbox)/ presses ESC on keyboard (PC) or taps out of the offer area (phone), we should be given the decline pop up. this was the expected behaviour so please ask your devs to fix it properly.
so overall, i would say this issue is still ‘open/pending’.
