18 pets now for Shentang. A couple of the long-established kingdoms have numbers in the low single digits.
I know a healthy number of the Shentang pets are related to an annual holiday, but the developers really could do a (slightly) better job of balance here. Instead of the current paradigm, which is lopsided in favor of a small number of kingdoms at the expense of everybody else.

It’s probably automated, using the same algorithm as gem/cosmic dragon eggs.

Just adding, Nintendo Switch is getting this pet too (despite otherwise running a Wild Plains week).

This is one of the small steps towards syncing up with other platforms, by having holiday events at the same time. We don’t get the rosebud pet next week, but we do get lovetrap for Valentine’s Day.
