This just happened to me three times in a row.
I had two troops left in the 3rd and 4th spots. The AI cast Orion and he went for my 1st spot on three consecutive casts. If it matters, my first spot belonged to a resurrected Dragon Soul.
I won the match thanks to this glitch, so cheers.
