New Mythic Troop: Tourmaline
Tourmaline will be the only Mythic Troop available in Glory, Gem, Guild & VIP Chests for the next 7 days.
He will also be available in Hellcrag Event chests exclusively this weekend until weekly reset.

If he were empowered and offset by (magic+1) scatter damage instead, maybe he’d have some use in GW or something.
The creation of gargoyle gems (effectively stone blocks) is a killer, though.
been a while since I messed with mana drain, but now I remember why I gave up on it. SO many troops are just plain immune…you almost need to run a curse option on any team to make the troop effective. If you do, or if the enemy team can’t stop mana drain the troop is actually very fun to use.

anyone got tourmaline from event chests?
spent 500 event keys to get it (50% chance i know) and didn’t get it.
this is only for data, i hope at least someone can confirm that it is in event chests.

it is in the event chest for sure on the xbox (fyi I think Tacet took like 3000 event keys to get it)

Just got this troop and started to use it in Boss event but the last trait doesn’t seem to work. I tried it about 10 times. Im on Xbox

In fairness, it is in the event keys.

Right now? No. Xenith is in the end of the paid pass.

If you have the paid pass though, you can just use gems (100 per gem) to fast track to the end of it.

Unfortunately it’s only the mana drain boosted by gargoyles, not the damage

Still very fun combination to play (though nothing I would bring into a PVP fight).
Shut down the board by blocking it with stones and goyles, keep the enemy at low mana, and once you’re at 15-20 gargoyles on the board, blow up the whole thing. Trick or Treat for everyone (un)lucky enough to witness.
Or in shorter words, the next spell in my screenshot won’t be the mythic, but the mountain crusher.
