Yep, I wasted a ton of keys trying to get another Blackhawk mythic… At least I didn’t get another Sharktopus, because it’s kinda dumb. 
I wasn’t aware of this rule and I’ve been playing for years. I really think it needs to be clearer what mythics are available where, as it’s impossible, for me at least, to remember whiich mythic was from pvp and won’t be in event chests etc

When this last happened this was something I think we (CX) had asked about and found this came from community feedback originally. Obviously, a time long before me so I don’t have any real context for it now.. and community sentiment is always changing.
Anyways, at the moment, I don’t think it will be changed but there is a lot of work generally to be done with a number of areas in the game where important information is missing.
A start is updating the in-game text in the News for Mythic’s, as well as the chest screen.
Blog is already fixed for future Mythic’s to just, by default, mention this, even if it’s not a Mythic Kingdom week.
We do have something coming in 9.4 to help with knowing where specific troops are from if you don’t own them.

Just something on the event chests indicating which kingdom troops can or can’t be pulled would be great.
