Figured so i just must of missed if anyone mentioned it is all.

No, we don’t. I’m not experiencing any lag at all in PvP, no matter at which time of the day I play. From a video I’ve seen about this it looks like the game is trying to load something, when moving from the Krystaria map to the PvP map as well as when entering a region. My guess is that it never succeeds doing that, it just eventually times out and proceeds without whatever it was trying to do.

Question is, which optional data exchange could be going on there? Why isn’t my account affected?

I think, the underspire sentinel fights have been fixed to match their area level. Rather a low priority change, I would have said, but okay…

I just hope they increase the chance of dropping the legendary at high levels.

At the risk of jinxing myself, I’m not experiencing the lag issue, either. PC/Steam. :woman_shrugging:

Also when loading the Quick Battle menu after finishing a PvP battle. It seems like it’s constantly trying to load something anytime I ‘enter’ a PvP menu (my opponents?). It happens on both PC/Android for me.

Double that, each pvp load takes ~10s before I can select an opponent, happens since the very 1st day of the new PVP, android/pc

Would you care to elaborate on this particular point? Like, for example, when will this start happening?


That is surely not my team - I have never used one like that! It looks like something a dev or community manager might’ve come up with but, unfortunately, I’m nowhere near their level of teambuilding skills.
So far only no restriction place looks like it might work as described; everywhere else? - all these nonsense teams.

As a free bonus, do you want my prediction of what happens when you actually implement using other players’ attack teams for enemies one faces? It will be few selected line-ups one faces all the time every time with the attack team being the same as defense team since restriction will naturally force zeroing in on a very limited optimized choices. Even more boring than the old PvP was.

Everything else…heh, let’s just say - I hope you’ll sleep better at night knowing that I call you all funny names every time a duplicate egg cracks; and, you know, it’s 22 eggs already…two can play at this game - if you find it fun making me crack them, I find it fun sending you my best regards.

Very strange. I wonder why it varies so much between players :thinking:.

PC I have lag and mobile even extra side of lag. Hmmn not sure why not everyone is affected but a decent amount are.

I’m wondering the same thing as I play some of the restricted PvP battles this week. All of these players from 25 guilds with defense teams that are clearly just 4 random cards that fit the restriction slapped together, often not including the hero… There’s no way all these experienced players used these teams either for attack or defense, they’re clearly just random selections.

So I have to wonder if these players only did PvP in other regions with different restrictions, but are still being selected as possible opponents in a region they have no team set up for. Then when that happens the game just picks 4 random troop cards to create a team for them. That’s the only thing that would make sense to me right now.

If that in fact is what is happening, then I think it was a huge oversight by the dev team not to limit the pool of opponents to people that played in the same region with the same team restrictions.

In a different thread, someone mentioned the possibility, that not saving the defense teams is a patchwork solution for attack teams not getting saved on the first day of the update.
I have yet to hear from anybody, who saw a hero troop since then outside the central kingdom, so this sounds plausible.

Thanks, I read a couple of those and with the additional information it does seem that the not saving teams bug/workaround is likely. Either way it seems like a bad look for the newly released PvP overhaul to be this messed up at launch. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at this point though.

Other points about the rewards versus time requirement mentioned in those threads are very true as well.

I didn’t see it mentioned, so:

In the ‘Possible Weekly Region Restrictions’, you find some kingdoms but NO Broken spire, NO Karakoth, NO Pridelands, NO Zaejin, NO Zhul’Kari… I checked all 10 Regions…

Each (non-colour) Pvp area is the counterpart to multiple overworld kingdoms. So those are representing the Central Spire area. A bit of a stretched corridor, but with a bit imagination, you can see how it fits.

I am more concerned about the misbalance between Summer Isle (3 kingdoms) and the other kingdoms, especially Winters Reach and Bay of Stars (7 kingdoms). The southern edge of the map needs some attention with future kingdoms it seems.
As a short time solution, maybe shift Darkstone from Broken Lands (6 kingdoms) over there.

They should have limited it to 4 copies maximum per color until you have all of them. Long ago. That would have been the minimum.

This is not fun, it’s demotivating.
