If you’re in Casual PVP, it looks like you have the difficulty cranked up.

Wow. Okay. So I have to set the difficulty of explorer on normal?

Yeah, on explore or Casual PVP, the difficulty settings will apply a stat modifier along with the reward modifiers. Doing casual on anything more than “hard” is usually not worth the extra effort.
