# Why can't you get skills above 1000?

I just got Acolyte to 1000 magic, attack, life and shield but would not go higher…  
why limit to 1000?

Because 1024 (the initial limit idea) wasn’t looking good so 1000 was decided for.

Or lose it, some games are not as easy as just hitting 1000 and winning. Giant spider\*\*\* vs mercy\*\*\* (never forget the swarms that sacked their lives for us.)
