This is pvp and the opponent options im getting are absolute BS. 2 of 3 options is always a 3000-5000 team score opponent. Are we getting ghost teams? Also is everyone getting the same? It has massive implications for VP earned and fairness
My team score is 20k

Since december pvp options went broken and noone knows if intended ghosts as to replace way-too-few options for lower level players, or just a bug

Be careful what you wish for. they’ll update it and make the teams a lot harder and you’ll still get the same VP.

I’m not convinced, I feel like the VP is less with these ghost teams.
And take the same amount of time, one cast of stella/crys takes the same amount of mana whether its a 2k team or 20k
Only teams of 20k plus score take 2 casts

I’m a (F2P) endgame player, almost to level 1800, and I see mostly zombies as my PvP opponents. Until somebody flags it to be “working as intended”, I’m assming that they screwed up something with the December update and this is how the servers are covering things.
I don’t mind all the easy-to-kill zombie accounts on those weeks I’m not trying to score much VP, or when I’m clearing my “next day Gold Marks” in a region that happens to get Blood Frenzy as well. But on those weeks when I do wish to score a lot of VP, I’d be a lot happier if I could go back to routinely having matches with a base VP amount high enough to justify spending a talisman on to double it. All these mid-30s VP matches make this more of a slog than it needs to be.

You also get absolutely no gold from playing pvp +650 gold compared to +2400 gold is a huge difference

It’s funny that you consider yourself an endgame player. The game considers you a low level player who deserves a 90VP reward if you’re brave enough to take on my 2500+ character. Even though the winner will usually be whoever goes first… _(that’s nothing against you. That’s a comment on the game)_
I so rarely see battles over 50VP (and 90VP maybe 3 times a week), that the mid 30VP battle is actually worth taking (Pretty sure I can’t 1-shot 20K in frenzy @Supa-N00b). I find it much faster way of earning VP than fighting some ~2000 for 50VP, because the teams are so randomly bad there is no 0-turn mana generation, no empowered, no looping, no random 1-shot, no hero (or untraited) and I don’t have to deal with barrier, submerge or respawn…
And no matter how bad a fight goes, I still can’t lose…

PvP is probably where the devs should have invested their ELO program.
It doesn’t really work in GW where there are maybe 5 guilds that care, 15 guilds that kinda try, 30 guilds that play and then the rest…
Let the PvP fight scale range from 90VP well above to 50 around me to 30 way below. Not on my player level or team score but where I am on the ladder.
Sorry if you’re level 900 and think you should be top 50.
_(BTW I hate PvP. I’ve done more this week than I did last season I think 🙂 )_

I consider myself an endgame player regardless of what you or the game thinks…
I’m end game because this is the end of the game for me.
Its not a challenge.
Its glitchy
And its the same boring fight over and over.

I’m so confused about the numbers everyone keeps posting. Are they only reading the pre battle screen.
Because no matter what the vp is on the pre battle, it means nothing.
You win quick and get high points. Is everyone just trying to mess with the Devs, or are they not reading the end points. Or is everyones game broke. I’m actually seriously confused.

On this one I used a victory talisman.
Does someone want to explain to me, how it’s possible to earn so low vp. I’m level 1752 so high end. Fighting low end. And still getting decent vp.
Am I honoured. Or is everyone just a weeny but getting confused and only reading pre battle screens 😂😂

I guess it’s what you call decent vp.
If you’re fighting frenzy vs a high level opponent you should be getting 450ish?

450 on what planet.
Is that really possible.
IV fought level 2250s and still got just under 200.
I think I’d need photo evidence of 300 or over tbh.
But like I’ve shown. I’m fighting teams 600 levels below me. And still getting 90 to 100 vp.
So I’d still like some evidence of people getting 30 or 40 vp AFTER BATTLE.

Can you show that after battle.
Like I have, a picture before what it offers, then after what you get. Would show evidence.

Played 90 vp fight with victory talisman in blood frenzy zone. Total end fight vp =348
Played lowest fight (38 vp) non blood frenzy no victory talisman. Total end fight vp = 67

If you need photo evidence of scoring more than 300 against a high level opponent with frenzy and victory talisman then I really don’t know what to say. Maybe a few people can post some big scores and see what we get.
Not sure that I (or anyone else) have said that anyone is getting 30 or 40 VP after battle.
I’m averaging 94VP through 3.3K+ battles this week, probably half of which have been frenzy
