# Which troops show up in explore?

I wasn’t lazy and tested the owned mythic theory, and it isn’t correct.  
On my second account I have those mythics

Thanks for testing it. Something else is going on then as well, but did you notice a preponderance of the owned mythics showing up? For me it isn’t even close. I always get the ones I own. There is definitely some connection between the mythics (and I believe legendaries as well) in your inventory and the enemy pool in explore.

You’re right about weekly event troops- just got a scurvy seadog in Zhul’khari. Also got Undine there (which I own, and which is not an event troop and does not show up in Zhul’khari’s questline/challenges). Edit: and a doomclaw. The usual cast of mythics I own…

New conjecture: The substituted troop comes from:  
mythics and legendaries you own  
gnomes  
special mythics/legendaries that don’t have a kingdom (war, seasonal imps, king gorgotha etc)  
Event troops
