# When is the estimated time consoles get the 2.2 update

It would be such a great addition.  
What is the in general time difference between consoles and mobile?

I’m not sure, however the devs are working towards bringing console up to speed with PC/Mobile, so hopefully the gaps between updates will get smaller and smaller.

The plan was for console to be caught up to PC/mobile by the new year. Really haven’t heard anything concerning it lately.

While not any kind of timeline @Sirrian did mention it in passing in the 2016 thread.
