These troops is seriously killing me, just seeing that them entering the game even in late 2021 shows us that ZERO EFFORT IS PUT INTO THIS. **Create 8 Green Gems and 8 Red Gems “and set up the board for the CPU”, then lose the game.** ---

This would be nice, simple, logical scoring _if they’d just made Shimmerscale score 10_ not 12. So close. ---

To be fair, it’s probably not their fault. I assume they were told to stop thinking of players as anything other than talking wallets that are best ignored if you want to max out profits 🤷‍♂️ ---

It’d not do hard to remember this week. Anything that’s shiny is worth the most - stars, shimmer, glitter, tinsel. Mythic the highest, rest the same. Other two are rarity order. Lowest difficulty. We had way worse ones. Way, way worse… ---

How often do we really see creative new troop ideas, anyhow? It’s not like this is a new spell archetype; there are plenty of troops that create 8 gems of two different colors and have some other effect as well. Lady Estelle has some utility in this week’s World Event, assuming she doens’t set up the board for the CPU. And she might be annoying in Explore mode. But otherwise she’ll likely be consigned to the same dust heap that contains 90+% of other newly released troops because people just won’t use her. ---

The battles are randomly chosen, but they all have an equal chance of appearing on the map. _Scoring_ You can find the following rewards for each of the different battles you may encounter. - Florian: 6 Fey Lanterns - Old Man Oakroot: 10 Fey Lanterns - Shimmerscale: 12 Fey Lanterns - Tinseltail: 12 Fey Lanterns - Glitterclaw: 12 Fey Lanterns - Fountain of Stars: 20 Fey Lanterns Each Fey Lantern is worth 5 points.
