# Weapon doesn't change in tutorial

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**  
Following Uther’s instructions in the tutorial, when I changed my weapon to the Wicked Staff, I expected that functionality in the subsequent match.  
Instead, I got the mana requirement and name of the staff, but everything else (picture and effect) remained those of the previous weapon, the Sword of Heroes (see screenshot).

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
This occurred in the “Defeat the Ogre” (second) battle of the “Unexpected Allies” quest during the tutorial. It appeared to fix itself in the subsequent battle, in “Release the Hounds”.

**Steps to make it happen again**  
Follow Uther’s instructions at the start of the game, and pay attention in the battle I mention.
