The thing that will totally ruin GW is the fact that the devs seems to see no problem with higher level chars earning less VP per battle. And they will probably score GW this way. So unless long time active players want to spend $$$ for the probable bonus fights/VP, they will be a hindrance to #1 guilds. (ofc lower level players can spend $$$ and force them out anyway) ---

Its a very high likelihood of no. We’ll be lucky to see it by late Spring 2025 and expect it to be its own update, something like Guild Wars Reborn or the likes. ---

They still haven’t found a way to monetize guild wars. Soon as they do we’ll have it back ---

Okay, let’s try this again… 8.2 dropped on October 28 (8 days earlier than expected). The 8.3 beta will begin November 11. Update 8.3 is expected to drop on December 24 (likely a week or so prior to get in before the holidays). With every update, this tracker becomes more accurate. I also expect it to do 2 things. 1: remove holiday music/assets. 2: insert data for the next campaign after the current one ends. (Week 10 is January 13th) February 1st would be kinda late for their campaign timing.. I get the feeling Campaign Seasons and PvP Seasons starting at different times is going to cause problems in the long run for the dev team since both need data uploads I think?.. ---

I don’t think we’ll get many full features until the end of January / early February. ---

[8.4 beta will be starting February 10th](https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/pc-beta-8-4-open-call/87053/2). This pushes the update out a few more weeks than originally expected. TBH, I suspect they are expecting the beta to not have anything game breaking, and release it around the 18th. That way they can run the new GW over top of Arena.
