# Underspire did not reset but regenerated a new map like the release states?

My underspire changed to a different map just like the release said but why?

When we describe the map as resetting, it means the whole map is different. It is not that you will have the same map as you had been playing on prior to reset.

As mentioned, it is a new map.

Closing as this is an ongoing known issue that the map has reset, and is new.
