Many of us are wracking up souls with no place to use them. Idea 1: Create a Souls Chest that gives anything besides troops; gems, verses, trinkets, dragonite, etc. Idea 2: Create a Guild Gifting Store where we can spend our souls for gifts to the entire guild. The gifts can change randomly on a weekly basis. Like 100k souls buys 10 Dragonite for all guild members, or buys a random verse, etc. Because, really we would all sell our souls for Something. ---

I second that motion! In the early levels of the game, I struggled to get enough souls to forge anything. Now I’m drowning in them. Another possibility: allow high-level players to donate – at 10:1 or 100:1 – souls to low-level players in our guilds. ---

How do you have too many souls? There’s 1400+ troops in the game and every troop needs 60.000 souls to be fully upgraded (unless you’re lucky with the medal system or orbs). Not talking about crafting troops, weapons or other stuff in the Soulforge yet. 🤔 ---

Once you have most of the troops, and your rate of acquiring new troops drops, you end up accumulating souls faster than you can spend them. I’m sitting on 30M souls right now. ---

Iv every troop at mythic level 20 Dawn and dusk from forge. And iv 14 mill souls. And iv all but 9 troops. ---

I’m not talking about leveling them up to 20. But to gold medal them afterwards. Currently I have 1400+ at 20 myself, now going gold on all of them. And that costs a lot of souls, even with 2 bronze/silver/gold medals from Underspire each week. Without US and orbs that’s about 85 to 90 million just for that task alone. ---

I don’t gamble on less than 100% chance on medaling troops; for me this is gated by medals (and orbs, now), not souls. ---

Ok so went and counted 220 elite gold medalled of which 43 are based rarity mythic 177 elite silver medalled. Of which 17 are based rarity mythic 91 elite bronze medalled. Of which all other base rarity mythics are bronze Iv no unmedalled mythics. Plus 41 bronze medal orbs in reserve. ---

I did a quick count too. 380 🥇 031 🥈 125 🥉 And 0 orbs of any type. That’s still a lot of troops left. 🤔 ---

Eventually, all mythics can be gold medaled from under spire glory orbs for a greatly reduced cost of not having to grind for nysha medals. Commons, rares, and even ultra rares can be gold medaled eventually if u r committed enough. Legendary and epic troops are where there is a large disparity because I can’t get medals fast enough to keep up with new troop releases. But we don’t have to gold medal them all. We only need 20 gold medaled troops for each kingdom. There r exceptions to this when powerful troops come out, but that’s why u should always leave enough medals and glory orbs to upgrade 2 mythics, 2 legendaries, and 2 epics at all times. Anyways, hope this helps paint a bigger picture on what is to be expected if u try to gold medal every troop, even though, it is completely unnecessary. U would be able to gold medal troops in time for your deed books to catch up anyway.👍 ---

I just started medaling troops (beyond bronze) when US was introduced. A year ago I was below 300 weapons as well, now I’m only missing 1. So a lot of gems, orbs and souls have been used since last summer. 🤔 Currently I’m catching up on mythics and all of the Sentinels, along with Stellarix. Mostly by the Soulforge every few weeks until only Sentinels are left. Pets are a side project, I’ve been missing the same 11 pets for 1.5 years now, so not much going on there. This is where I would prefer to spent resources and souls the most. If pets could be crafted in the Soulforge with souls and other resources, I would spend everything there before going for medals again. My kingdoms are at 16 minimum, now I’m going for 18 everywhere. That’s why I would need lots of souls, before finally upgrading to 20 next year. 🥺 ---

Yeah, Switch users got completely screwed over with the “catch up and synch” update. We missed out on 4 campaigns worth of mythics and weapons, so it will be a long time before all those kingdoms rotate around again. Missing out on the ruby macaque weapon components is frustrating because I would have gladly paid for the campaign pass to get it. I refuse to pay for individual weapons, even though that’s what they want. I’ll just wait patiently. Most of the medals I got for upgrading troops so that every kingdom would have at least 15 gold medaled troops was from the Hoard Mimic grind. I remember being very frustrated because I would get about 8,000 trophies every week for about 2 months just smashing explore 12 nonstop. The medals I got from that grind were very beneficial. I just didn’t realize it because I was so focused on getting one of the most elusive troops in the game. Those under spire sentinels though…yeah, I will just leave it at that.🤣 ---

Tbh I’ve done full underspire about 5 times The easy kingdoms. For the double orbs All other weeks, I only use free goes, so green every week brown most. And I’ve 3 sentinels plus 2 dupes. So doing the whole underspire just for sentinels imo is silly. ---

It honestly wasn’t meant to be a brag. I just wanted to show players that if u commit to explore 12 enough, u don’t have to worry about upgrading troops. Weekly under spire will get all mythics caught up if u have the gems for it because u can keep up with the new monthly mythics. Btw, I only have 2 sentinels and have fully cleared ever since release, so kudos for beating me in that achievement.👍 ---

No mate , I new you wasn’t bragging. I was saying, cos rng will be rng wether you pay 2k gems and do all. Or pay no gems and do free. I say do underspire for the minion, gold n silver. But if sentinel is the most important, just do free. ---

Thanks for the perspective, Darkborne. I haven’t been leveling up troops unless they are exceptional repeat users. \>\_\> I tend to hoard my resources, it’s part of my subconscious need to feel in control of things. lol, like any of us can control anything (insert self Gibbs smack reality check). In the end I really do have way more souls than I need due to vault events. Gaining 1M souls a month. Would be nice to share with my guildies in some manner. Anyway, my main point is Thank You ❤ It’s helpful to see the stats!! ---

My pleasure. It’s just that in the large scheme of things, upgrading troops seems too overwhelming, but it can be done with enough commitment. Getting 15 gold medaled troops in every kingdom except for Sin of Miraj, Dhrak-Zum, Nexus, Hellcrag, Vulpacea, and Mydnight, should be the goal. U can then steadily get to 20 gold medaled troops when u can reach the elusive power level 30 kingdoms. Every journey begins with a single step, and this is no different.
