# Tracking number of fights per battlecrasher

Some people have shared in comments and discord how many fights it’s taken them to get all the battlecrashers. Instead of scattering that data, let’s have a single thread for it. Excluding data from the first day since the drop rates have since changed as per [Change to this week's Battlecrasher](https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/change-to-this-weeks-battlecrasher/72676)

Short version: The first 9 battlecrashers are fast to get. The tenth hurts.

I am no longer updating this. The numbers are stable enough.

Explore 1 (in case PvP appearance differs, as it does with Gnomes)
He appeared on battles 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 14, 30, 39, 43, and 82

I will add different days to the same table. But, I am excluding yesterday since the drop rate changed as per

Interesting distribution — I kept the chaff to better visualize the appearance rate.
I’m thinking it’s a pretty easy-ask for most people, so I’m pleased with the battlecrasher overall so far 👍
EDIT to also say it’s all Explore, since I just realized you’re tracking that.

Thanks everyone so far!
I changed some of the tables. Seems everyone but me was tracking which fight # each battle crasher appeared. I was tracking the number of fights between battlecrashers. 😅 So, the main big table now shows what everyone else has been doing, fight # each crasher appeared.

Hold on, PvP and explore have different rates?! I thought it was the same.
Well, I’ll track explore and PvP too for those that have that info.

I’ve always assumed that, since I see so few Gnomes while doing PvP (which I tend to do easily 20k points worth of weekly, peaking at 60k) when compared with the appearance rate during Nysha farming… But if it’s just my selective observation, please ignore the distinction

I got my 10 in these battles. Half were Explore 5/6 and other half were Explore 1.

I seem to keep drawing the short stick on that 10th crasher: coincidence, or could it be related to me doing Explore1 with Ironhawk x3? (à la GaP rewards being affected by speed/timer)

Last time was Explore 12 so as not to waste mythstones, mixed with PVP to get to Tier I (only Day 1).
Today was the only pure-Ironhawk session. Dunno if it’s actually significant or if my small amount of battles yesterday was the true outlier 🤷♂️

Ughhhhh I hope not. I dont think so, though. I have been running Dust Devil with Ironhawk on explore 1 as well. Yesterday my numbers were like yours: took me 41 battles between ninth and tenth battlecrasher, and you 43. But today it took you less at only 22 battles. …I only needed one. 😝
I admit I wasn’t entirely rushing though. I was idly playing so not super fast, but still quick enough.

Nov 17:
Recorded total battles to encounter battlecrashers, not battles in between each:
4, 9, 16, 21, 23, 28, 29, 34, 51, 56
Mix of explore 1, explore 12, and PvP. Didn’t count gnomes, but I saw several. Probably should, since they are (allegedly) rolled first, so a battle you got a gnome is not one that could have ever generated a battlecrasher. Not sure if they interfere in any other meaningful way (ie., would the best model to be deduct gnome encounters from eligible battlecrasher encounters when calculating totals or something else?).
