Or they may have felt an additional slap on the wrist couldn’t hurt, so they voided all your keys for going way beyond what you ever owned. 🤔 If you eyeball your shiny token collection, does it look like those 631 chests are in there? ---

well reducing keys amount by 13k for everyone who collected those is a pretty good result ---

Im not shocked that yet again the GOW community have been treated so poorly as with no explanation as to why theyve removed the keys or even if it was a error. Yet again they screw up we pay for it… Truly poor show… ---

As @Fourdottwoone already pointed out, Azaleus’ Bumblebee was _last week’s_ reward, and no-one who is participating in the Season Event needs another copy. There was not meant to be a weekly reward track at all this week. 2. There was, but the reward was meant to be shiny keys (just, a lower number). I have noticed that, many times in the past, you developers (@Sirrian / @OminousGMan / @Kafka / @Nimhain ) have had real psychological difficulties owning your mistakes – or even learning from them. You nearly always seem to try and wriggle your way out of them, usually with gas-lighting or outright lies. At least, that’s very much how it appears from the outside, which makes it just _ **terrible** _ public relations with your loyal player base. I think it would do you all a LOT of good to publicly admit to the lie about Azaleus’ Bumblebee and apologise for trying to cover up your mistake. As far as remedies go, if you can actually roll back the use of the mistakenly awareded keys accurately for each account (then make it up to us for the time we took opening them), then that is a fair course of action. Thing is, I suspect (based on past events) that you don’t actually have the logging and scripting abilities built into your game to do this. I will wait and see. However, it may well be that the only truly fair thing to do is to max every shiny troop for every current player (except Sheggra, obviously), effectively setting a milestone for all existing Shiny troops (and a clean slate for all future Shinies). _Then_ you can fairly remove all Shiny Keys and dust, and then give us all a small bonus for completing the week’s reward track, such as 5 Shiny Sheggra Tokens (which are not enough to reach shiny level 2, and hence do not penalise those who paid real money, nor really reward those who didn’t). I hope I don’t have to write this up in more detail in a few days’ time. **OWN YOUR MISTAKE!** ---

@OminousGMan by your post it reads removing excess keys from accounts.But what about the keys already used to upgrade all the shiny troops. Is that being rolled back as otherwise it is inherently unfair to every player unable to take advantage or those who deliberately held off using just in case ---

Why not just let them keep the Shiny Keys then, and gift everyone Shiny Keys? ---

Hey everyone, Sorry for the delay in responding, I wanted to make sure I had a proper update to share. Now that the 13,397 Shiny Keys Reward issue has been fixed, we’re currently working on the second phase, aimed at resolving questions about what happens with Shiny Tokens and Shiny Dust earned from using those keys. We believe the best solution is going forward will be to reverse the Shiny Data gained as a result of using the (now removed) 13,397 Shiny Keys, and make sure that players are refunded any keys of their own they may have used at that time. Any new Shiny Keys purchased or rewarded after the bug was fixed that have been used to open Shiny Chests will be given back as part of this process. Players who collected the incorrect reward (the 13,397 Keys) will also receive the copy of Azaleus’ Bumblebee that they should have. This fix will go out in the next 24 to 48 hours. Thanks for your patience while we resolve the issue to and ensured everyone got the intended rewards. ---

I really hope that in the future this practice will be used in cases where the error was disadvantageous to players. For example, at one time players spent many event keys to get Kurandara, but there was a bug. The keys were not returned, and they had to spend more on resources for the Soulforge. ---

This was probably the best solution. Interesting that Sheggra tokens weren’t available in shiny keys though. ---

I feel like some shiny tokens for the toxic hag got lost because of the revert. Got bugged keys, opened them, upped toxic hag to shine 3, then got reward from the raid boss event stage, that should award with toxic hag shiny tokens, got pile of dust instead, as expected. And after the revert all shine levels have been stripped from the hag, and dust i got from the reward has been taken away too. Could you please compensate it in some way?
