# Tips to prevent Wand whiffs

1. _Know your source!_ - make sure you order from an Authorized Retailer. Don’t get scammed by a [Wish.com](http://Wish.com) Wand!

2. _Blind Casting_ - every time you cast Wand close your eyes for 5 seconds. Did it whiff? Doesn’t matter it’s either your turn or you’re dead!

3. _Just Don’t It._ - Let’s remember our Wands are barely a year old (some even younger). Toddlers get cranky sometimes and need a time out. Using an explody like Ruby or Obsidian Libram for a bit can make your Wand super jelly.
