# Tian Yi's spell doesn't kill himself, does it?

I just first encountered him in PvP. After my opponent’s Tian Yi cast his spell, he died and a (summoned) Monkey Disciple appeared in its place. His death was not an undocumented effect of his spell, was it? Perhaps he hit my Reflect, since I was using my Hellcrag gargoyles team.

Could have been reflect, or you may have exploded a deathmark gem without realizing it and it procced on him.

You’re correct, his spell doesn’t kill himself.

It can’t be Deathmark, since he died _after_ casting his spell. It should be Reflect.
