He will also appear in Event Chests during Nexus event weeks. It’s good to have positive, definitive confirmation, but this leaves out any acknowledgement that he was not in the aforementioned chests for a period where it was advertised he would be, or that there was any kind of mistake or delay 😵‍💫. > [@Don’t stop believin’](https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/don-t-stop-believin/72617/1): > > Hawthorn will be available in the Journey Shop, and will appear in Glory, Gem, Guild, and VIP chests in 3-4 weeks’ time. Other, regularly released troops that enter the same chests “in 3-4 weeks’ time” don’t get special mentions when they enter the drop pool, but they usually make it in, and it’s still expected they’ll be there. I guess on the flipside, the other Nexus troops from the Kingdom Pass (Waterborn Priestess, etc.) were added possibly earlier than the advertised 2-3 months after event end (maybe it was realised that that was a bit ridiculous), but even so there was no communication around why that happened, either. > [@If Goats Could Fly](https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/if-goats-could-fly/74379/12): > > We all make mistakes, but it’s how you handle those mistakes that matters ¯\_(ツ)\_/¯ --- _[View the full topic](https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/the-saga-of-ice/74490)._
