# The phone's Autocorrect is not working in the app

Android, OS 8

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**

In every other android app, autocorrect works. In gems of war, autocorrect doesn’t work.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**

Always

FYI with 4.2 release this has been resolved! did you guys fix it on purpose?

Autocorrect now works on android
