Other highlights included 1 chaos shards, 1 glory and 1 gold. I wish I’d had gotten a pic of that. Only 1 million of them to do an lt 🤣

Apparently, the faster you finish a battle during a GAP, the lower it scales quantity rewards. This is done as a counterbalance to GAP being crafted _specifically_ to farm Gnome rewards.

In other words, the devs hate us, and don’t want us getting a reasonable amount of rewards. They control how often gnomes appear, and how often specific gnomes appear, but rather than adjusting that, they chose to make it so that our rewards can be scaled down, which feels incredibly unfair. Just another design choice that annoys many of us.

Its a joke. What are you supposed to do with 1 dragonite? Or 1 glory? Still waiting on being able to craft individual verses too but I think the game will be gone before that happens

I got 1 Dragonite yesterday from a Gap in PVP and 3 in another.
Can’t ever seem to have seen such low numbers. 7? maybe lowest ever before then and in E1.

One of the workarounds some people have used is that if you are low on the GAP timer when a Dragonite Gnome appears, let the clock run out before proceeding to battle, and they should drop full rewards.

What if … that’s an unreasonable definition of “reasonable”?
At least they can’t downscale the major rewards (Vault Key drops), or the fact that it still counts towards Gnome weekends (more Vault keys!).

There is still a random range (most likely anecdotally 20-80 Dragonite - can’t remember if anyone ever benchmarked PVP Dragonite in isolation) element to this, been doing it for years, but more recently in PvP to use the weekly pvp goal bonus. In fact I no longer bother at all with GaP during vault weekends, other than last week’s PvP goals, which I carry over before vault weekend, and then this week’s so 2 hours of time in PvP GaP.
Rewards are borderline obsolete for end gamers from GaP, Dragonite the exception. Verses only. Better off doing E1 in explore for writs and coloured deeds and imperials. The only exception possibly (having an issue atm) are jewel shards/patterns. I’ve just spent 1.2 million jewel shards/patterns to make as many purple amethysts as possible for the last magic stat. So I may review that strategy and do some E1 gaps this time.
I actually played the battles where I got 1 Dragonite and 3 a bit slower, and tbh I just am not bothered about Vps anyway, so I don’t rush to murder everything in 10 seconds. I will time out a PvP Dragonite gnone this weekend and see if that has changed. I’ve never seen 1 or 3 before.
