# \[Tech Issue\] Crash to home screen on iOS 9.3.5

**Platform, device version and operating system:**  
IPod touch  
iOS version 9.3.5

**Screenshot or image:**

\*\*What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened  
-I was hoping to register an old Gems of War game on my iPod touch so I could continue playing on my iPhone.  
When I started the game on my iPod I was informed that I needed to update it before I could continue.  
I updated to the latest version, but now when I try to start the game it crashes back to the home screen within a few seconds.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
This happens every time I try to start the game.  
This started happening as soon as I updated.

**Steps to make it happen again**  
it happens whenever I try to launch the game
