# Stuck at loading screen

After I formated my pc my game is stuck at the “loading assets” screen with the bar 80% filled up. The operating system is exactly the same as the one I had before I formated (windows 8.1). I’ve tried turning off my antivirus and whitelisting the game to no avail. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying the files, run as admin and several workarounds and solutions I’ve found on the steam forums, but nothing seems to work.

Please help
