Not even kidding, these are heroic gems like most others, they’ll likely be showing up increasingly through the campaign, same as lycan gems.

Wish gems sound like a pain for the 10 weeks. But I’m okay with them after that when they are just made from traits and abilities. Only 1 troop and 1 weapon mention them so far, right?

Isn’t it suspicious that we have a new Mythic for March '22 (Faerie Gobmother), but nothing for February? Spoilers do not show anything so far, and there are 2 Mythics in the bottom of the full troop spoiler list, but no one fits February theme (Pisces are for 21st of February and Aries - for 22nd of March).

Not really. Gobmother is probably the campaign mythic. It has to be in the game earlier to show up in campaign rewards on Monday.

There are multiple troops for the campaign that all give a 10% chance to create a Wish gem at the start of their turn. These would be the glory troops released each week during the campaign. So, just like lycanthropy, it’s a mechanic that is going to stick around and pop up sporadically in different battles.

Seems ok to me if they release Pisces for ‘February’ month since is astrological window is starting in that month (20 Feb-20March) about.

TRAIT\_MAGMASTORM - Magma Storm
TRAIT\_MAGMASTORM\_DESC - Conjure a Lavastorm when my turn begins.
New storm, not associated with a troop yet, but probably Fire Right legendary, **Magma Dragon**? If it matches delve colours, red/brown storm.
Also looks like we’ll be seeing lots of burning gems in the delve 😬
- **Dancing Flames**
_Convert all Gems of a Chosen Color to Burning Gems._
- **Burning Sting**
_Deal damage to an Enemy. Then gain Armor, boosted by Burning Enemies._
- **Magma Breath**
_Deal damage to all Enemies, boosted by Red and Brown Gems._
- **Flaming Trident**
_Deal splash damage to an Enemy, boosted by Burning Gems._

missed it in all of the other fluff.
I guess if you never cast your troop with the bless potion on, they can’t burn your slot 2-4 troops with burning gems (realistically speaking slot 1 is going to grab a skull at some point).

Sounds like it’s going to be a difficult delve to beat with a native team and without potions because it’s going to be a damage carnival with limited damage mitigation and no healing. Like Indrajit’s Palace – which I’ve started working on in the last week – with Brown to replace Purple and Burning gems instead of troops that do Curse/Burn.

Looks like the tradition of adding a new Mythic in the beginning of each month has been stopped. Too many Mythics in the game? Too few ideas for them?

Just because the mythics listed in spoilers don’t have dates yet doesn’t mean they won’t be released monthly.
Mind you, I’d happily take less frequent mythics that were genuinely… mythic. Most of them are useless dross

Eh, 25% to convert a red gem to heroic burning gem at start of turn … x 8 … what could go wrong. Hope they don’t repeat Wyrmrun.
But mechanically speaking, its just so … plain. Converter, damage + armor gain, damage to all enemies, and splash damage. There’s … nothing really there. Especially when they just have four traits devoted to delve stats and another four to the 25% to burning gems.
AND, lets not forget that Broken Spire already has a Red/Brown Elemental/Dragon Legendary troop … who definitely used to have a trait that burned enemies that did her skull damage.

There are two mythics in spoilers with no release date (Jan 1, 2030 = no set release date), I expect those will be the monthlies.
And I’d be very surprised if they removed the monthly mythics - for a lot of people, new mythic Friday is the only day of the month when they open keys, lots of them if needed. It’s not likely they would give up that key sink.
I wonder what spells the zodiac mythics will have. Hopefully it won’t be just 12 variations of the same troop 🤞

Seems that way. There is another Dragon’s Claw mythic that just got added into the queue, but most of these seem to be Zodiac-related. Construct-seeming Aries looks badass.
