# \[solved\] Unexpected transformations in GW

Steam, Surface Book pro, Win 10 pro

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**  
Opponent transformed 2 of my troops in Werebat(?) and Valraven though neither the class nor any traits or lycanthropy gems succeded

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Happened in todays 1st GW match…and **SUCKS** lost my match due to it!!!

**Steps to make it happen again**  
I don’t dare, but I’ll try the next match…see what’ll happen

Let me guess, they used Essence of Evil on both of those troops?

Lycanthropy counts as a negative status effect and Essence inflicts all of them at once.

Okay, thanks for this hint…didn’t think about EoE and lycanthropy negative status effects.  
Too blind…  
Guess this can be handled as solved then 😅
