Today I noticed that the appearance of Xenith (the current kingdom pass battlecrasher) triggered Lust’s third trait (Temptation: charm a random enemy when an ally dies).

I understand that the battlecrasher has to kill one troop (literally) in order to free up one space but I think death related traits shouldn’t be triggered in this case.

Is there an official position from the dev team about it?

It has always been this way. In fact, some players take advantage of that feature and purposely set up a PVP defense team with a couple copies of Lust.
😜

Usually “working as intended”, without even reading the question. 😜
