I tried to find a forum post on this - no dice. Is Shiny Dust even a thing yet? If so, how is it obtained…or i this another - “Hey a new feature is coming but first, we must fix what isn’t broken and add features no one asked for.”

When you take your doomed weapons to the forge
And destroy them.
You get 5 shiny dust.
Which you can sprinkle into a vault key
And it becomes an epic vault key. 😉

If you have a troop at level 3 Shiny and you pull more Shiny Tokens for it, those tokens become dust. Get enough dust, craft a Shiny Key.
This was mentioned in the release notes when Shiny Keys were introduced.

just to add, the pull you get for however much dust is required, is supposedly guaranteed to be for a troop that still needs it. Would be a real feels bad to get all the dust you need only for it to be converted to a lesser amount of dust.

Missed the release notes - thanks. The likelihood I will ever get a troop past 3 shiny is probably nill at my guild’s current participation level (which is good - just not good enough to get us keys consistently).
