# Retreat Explore consequences

Are there any consequences to retreating in explore mode? I know PVP counts as a loss as I’ve been forced into it before by bugs but as explore has no ranking what are the consequences?
It seems to me it’s quicker and cheaper to start a game and retreat than to ever use the scout option?

There are no consequences from retrearing explore. You don’t loose ranks or anything.
