just to reiterate, it would be great if we had an amount of “expected” guardian rooms, like ~10 per underspire, or ~50% of dead ends. Just judging from the underspire we got after the first reset last week, where there was a guardian in about 50% of dead ends it seemed, to this week where its like less than 10% of dead ends, and mostly deeper in, is a HUGE difference. ---

We are currently testing a fix for this issue, once confirmed it will be released ASAP. The plan is that once this is patched through, it will make any dead ends that were intended to be a Treasure Guardian appear as one. If this dead end has already been cleared, then you won’t need to complete the battle again, you can just collect the treasure. Once we have any more information or should the detail of the fix change, we will post again. ---

Adding value to playing the mode, in the form of a chasable carrot, increases the likelihood that people will bother to sink gems and/or cash into the mode. Good for the health of the game. However, if the carrot is too rare (either by intentional design, rng quirkiness, or a bug) it will cease to function as a carrot that people will chase with their gems and/or cash. That is arguably bad for the health of the game. If the new treasure guardians are not meant to be a chasable carrot, and instead just meant to be a little (and rare) bonus we stumble into, I’m fine with that. If it IS meant to sink gems and/or cash, then whatever wonkiness is happening, is a problem. ---

Hey folks, We’re working on getting the fix out today. This will also include putting Treasure Guardian Rooms on some dead end map tiles that have already been revealed. If you have played the dead end battle you will see the Treasure Guardian Room chest which you can open. We’ll also be sending out 10 Torches for everyone. When are torches supposed to appear? 4 dead ends turned into treasure rooms, torch count remains at 0, though. ---
