# \[Reported\] Purchasing Guild Wars Rewards

When attempting to purchase the first tier in the Guild Wars Rewards for 20 gems, I received the error CLIFFY-XZUS68QTPT. Invite code is WARROSE\_MYRY. Tried several times and same results.

Jeto will probably have more input here, but I suspect it is because the Guild War event hasn’t started yet. Today we are still setting up defenses and tomorrow is the first day of GW. That is when the battles are available and winning them will count to your individual rewards.
Therefore it will probably work tomorrow for you. 🙏

Yeah, I imagine this is exactly the case. As the event has not started till after reset tonight, this function will not work.
I have let the team know and just waiting to hear back which way is intended - you can buy the rewards before the attack phase, or you can’t.

Given that the wording on the announcement was that you can buy back wins you missed, I’d have assumed you had you play a battle and lose (or wait a day and not play) before you can buy anything, but maybe you’ll be able to just buy all the rewards and not play at all. Seems weird, but looking forwards to seeing what was intended there.

As the Medallion is available to purchase before the attack phase, it could also mean you could be able to purchase those rewards as well.
Again, waiting for confirmation on whats intended.

So, these offers should be available to purchase if you want before the attack phase begins. Team are gonna work on getting that resolved in the next 48 hours so it doesn’t give any errors.
