# \[Reported\] Phantom Fox's Soulburn II

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**  
Something is very wrong with Soulburn 2. It seems, it hits the very first slot only, and has no effect, if there is no one there.

**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**  
Just noticed. But I never used the Phantom Fox before.

**Steps to make it happen again**

- Cast Soulburn II
- Expect no damage, except troop in the first slot (upd: first two slots) - not the first two enemies.

P.S. Also, Mana Burn effect must be boosted by caster magic, right? I have 31. And on last screenshot it’s obvious I hit the enemy for 9 damage. As he is under Fairy Fire, it’s 6 for mana +50% for Fairy Fire. No caster magic involved at all?

P.P.S. Also, I have Crystal Medal equipped (+160% to Skull and Spell damage). Is Mana Burn excluded from its effect?

No. Mana Burn affect 2 first slots, it seems - but not takes into account the caster magic, so hit for 0, if no mana is collected.

Phantom Fox’s Mana Burn not being boosted by Magic has already been reported 👍

In your first example, Exploadstool has the Impervious trait, making it immune to Mana Burn – hence no damage.

The bug is either not fixed yet, or was fixed but then re-introduced somehow. Phantom fox’s mana burn is still not boosted by its magic stat, as of 2023-12-16.
